Mulled Wine

1.5L bottle of Merlot

1 cup orange juice

¾ cup white sugar

¼ tsp allspice

¼ tsp cinnamon

5 cinnamon stick

3 whole cloves

Break out the crock pot! Add wine and orange juice, stir in sugar, allspice and cinnamon. Float orange wheels and cinnamon sticks. Cook on low for 4 hours. Serve in mugs with a fresh cinnamon stick and orange wedge.

Mistletoe Kiss 

This makes about 10 drinks

30 oz vodka (3¾ cups)

5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice

10 oz (1¼ cups) rosemary simple syrup

Topped with a dash of club soda

fresh cranberries (frozen work too) for garnishment

sprigs of rosemary for garnishment

Combine vodka, simple syrup, and lemon juice into a large container and stir well, When ready to serve, pour over ice and top with a dash of club soda. Garnish with cranberries and a sprig of rosemary for the festive look!

Poinsettia Champagne Cocktail

½ oz orange liqueur

3 oz cranberry juice

3 oz Champagne

Fresh cranberries, for garnish

Fresh rosemary sprig, for garnish

Gather ingredients. Pour the orange liqueur and cranberry juice into a chilled Champagne flute. Stir well. Top with Champagne. Garnish with a few fresh cranberries and a small rosemary sprig. Serve and enjoy.

 It's the most wonderful time of the year! Over the past few years the whole world was basically shut down for Christmas. Not allowed to celebrate with family...all that fun Covid crap. I've noticed this year tho Christmas has exploded all over RL and SL! We're all coming out of our caves and finally are able to be with people again!

For Each Drink:

1 Tbsp grenadine

Gingerale

Lemon-Lime Soda (such as Sprite or 7Up)

Maraschino cherries

Candy Cane

Prepare Glass Rims: Place coconut on a small plate and confectioners sugar on a separate small plate. Add water to the sugar and mix with a fork until well combined with no lumps. Dip the rim of a glass in the sugar mixture, ensuring that the entire rim gets well coated. Immediately dip sugared rim in  coconut. Repeat with remaining glasses if making more than one drink.

Prepare Drink: Fill the prepared glass with desired amount of ice. Add grenadine; fill the remainder of the glass with ½ gingerale and ½ lemon-lime soda.

Garnish with 2-3 maraschino cherries and a candy cane.
